Ogni Musica ha delle storie dietro di sè. Storie di vite di compositori, esecutori, trascrittori... Ogni progetto musicale sia esso un concerto o una registrazione ha dietro di sè una gran quantità di storie raramente raccontate. Con la serie di Newsletter "Le Storie dietro la Musica" vogliamo raccontarvele.
Oggi ci occupiamo di ciò che significa ricercare un suono. La ricerca di un suono non è solo legata alla qualità del timbro, dell'emmissione o del tipo di suono ma anche di tutto ciò che riguarda il tempo, l'articolazione, l'agogica e tante altre variabili. Una delle caratteristiche principali della musica è quella di svolgersi nel tempo, o meglio ancora: nel "suo" tempo. La Musica crea un tempo che si distacca da quello dell'orologio e del metronomo. Valerio Losito ed Elisabetta Guglielmin si sono posti questo problema e con l'aiuto di musicologi e specialisti della ricerca musicale e scientifica hanno cercato di ritornare a ciò che potevano essere i tempi di esecuzione delle Sonate di Bach per Clavicembalo e Violino ai tempi del compositore. Qui di seguito due video collegati a questa produzione che affrontano la questione del tempo e del suo legame con la musica dal punto di vista artistico e psicologico e da quello musicologlico.

Today we are concerned with what it means to search for a sound. The search for a sound is not only related to the quality of the timbre, the emission or the type of sound but also everything that concerns the time, the articulation, the agogic and many other variables. One of the main characteristics of music is that it takes place in time, or better still: in "its" time/tempo. Music creates a time that is detached from the clock and metronome. Valerio Losito and Elisabetta Guglielmin have posed this problem and with the help of musicologists and specialists in musical and scientific research have tried to return to what could be the tempo of performance of the Bach Sonatas for Harpsichord and Violin at the time of the composer.
